What's New

The MusicEase Traditional Songbook for Children and Adults was released in August of 2003. This collection of over 300 public domain song classics provides transposable sheet music for a large number of common children's songs as well as traditional standards known to most adults.

New versions of MusicEase and MusicEase Professional have been released as of February, 2003. New features include support for MusicXML (scanned music), guitar rhythm notes, error recovery, two adjacent staves in the same system can be combined into a single staff while conversely, a single staff containing 2 voices can be split into 2 separate staves with the upper voice ending up on the upper staff and the lower voice ending up on the lower staff, and staves notated using single stemmed voicing (or mixed single and double stemmed voicing as found in the SATB hymns of many standard hymnals) can automatically be converted to double stemmed voicing and vice versa. The professional version now allows users to define their own symbols.
